That's why the Skyguard Service provides the very best - professionally trained controllers working in our secure Emergency Response Centre; our unique software and systems for instant personal identification and precise location; direct access to the emergency services and our additional mobile response teams. The Skyguard Service key features include: Controllers who are specially trained and experienced at handling personnel emergencies and are fully security screened to British Standard 7858. 24 hour Emergency Response Centre with all the necessary power back-up and protection required by the emergency services to British Standard 7499. Pinpoint location of the person in distress on the controller's screen using Ordnance Survey mapping in large scale and street level forms. On-screen personal information about the individual user including description and/or photo, job details, medical records of relevance to paramedics, and escalation instructions on what to do and who to call in different circumstances. Two-way communication enabling the controller to listen in to the situation through the user's personal safety device, then decide which emergency service to alert (or to declare a false alarm).
