You can choose to contact your friends, family or carer with our ‘Friends & Family’ service or take the option to connect to our Incident Management Centre, with comprehensive 24 hour cover on our ‘Emergency’ package.

Calls / SMS messages are via the O2 network with an allowance of 5 minutes of free calls and 10 free SMS messages per month.
Airtime charges outside of this allowance will be charged at the following rates: Calls to UK landline – 4p / min. Calls to UK Mobiles – 9p / min. Calls to 0844 number – 12p / min. SMS to UK Mobiles – 8p each. There will be a limit of £30 / month for call and SMS charges.

The Friends and Family package starts from as little as £9.99 per month. It includes the option to call up to three phone numbers of your choice at the touch of a button and the ability to track the device from a mobile phone or internet-enabled computer.
The MySOS features three main buttons which can be programmed with three phone numbers of your choosing. You can raise the alarm by pressing any of the buttons on the device. Pressing just one button to call for help is simpler and much faster than using a mobile phone to call for help.
The MySOS device has the same functions as a mobile phone, enabling you to talk and listen to any of your three contacts assigned to the device.
Upon raising the alarm to one of your three contacts, the device will automatically send the MySOS’s exact location, as shown on a map, to that number. Provided they have an internet-enabled phone, they can view the location instantly; if not, a link to a secure URL will be sent via text message which can be viewed on any internet enabled computer. This function is ideal if the MySOS’s user is unable to speak for any reason.
What’s more, you can request the MySOS’s exact position at any time by sending a simple text message to the device from a mobile phone. A reply with a web link to a map with the location will be sent, which can be viewed instantly on an internet-enabled mobile phone or computer. Perfect for locating your child or elderly relative should you be concerned about their whereabouts.
Included with your MySOS are two lanyards for wearing around the neck. As the MySOS is lightweight, it won’t put a strain on you. We’ll also include a keychain which allows you to easily attach the device to your set of keys, keeping the device handy when out and about. There’s also a ‘quick’ user guide which is small enough to attach to your keys too.
Our Emergency package includes free Emergency calls to our 24/7 manned Incident Management Centre, access to online mapping, tracking software and Customer Service Centre and the ability to track and find the device and its user. Subscription to this package starts from just £16.99 per month.
You can raise the alarm at any time, day or night, by pressing the large ‘SOS’ button on the device. By pressing for a few seconds, this prevents accidental alarm calls being made but is still simpler and much faster than using a mobile phone to call for help.
When you raise the alarm, our controllers will instantly know who you are, where you are, any problems that you may be facing (such as medical conditions, allergies or any other information that you choose to inform us of when you sign up for the service), and your friends and families contact details. We’ll also listen in to what is happening and send assistance, if appropriate.
There is no time wasted in you having to tell us who you are, where you are and what your emergency is. This saves vital minutes and has proven to be life saving in many circumstances.
The MySOS device has the same functions as a mobile phone, enabling us to talk to you and listen when you raise the alarm. We can offer advice and reassurance during any emergency, and you’ll be able to talk back to us. It’s just like having a conversation on the phone… except our expertly trained controllers will be sending help, if appropriate at the same time.
Of course, if it is not safe to talk, you don’t need to say a word. We’ll send help right away to your exact location. You can even provide us with a ‘duress code’ - a secret word which will let our controllers know that you are facing a threatening or violent situation.

We have direct access to local Police control rooms across the country, bypassing the 999 system. There are many benefits to this, such as: 999 operators don’t have access to who is calling or why they have called (we do); Callers to 999 cannot often convey what is wrong or even who they are, either because of distress or panic; We avoid having to explain the situation to the 999 operator first and waiting for the call to be transferred to the local police operator. All of which saves crucial and potentially life-saving time.
You can update any of your personal information in real-time via our secure online Customer Service Centre (CSC). This is where your personal details are securely kept and are only displayed to our controllers in an emergency. You can update friends and family’s contact details, allergies and illnesses and any medication you need to take. You can even transfer the device between more than one person. That’s right… the device is not just limited to one user!
All emergencies are recorded and kept. Vital if you need to take legal action at a later date as a result of the incident.
The MySOS features a speed dial button which can be programmed with a phone numbers of your choosing. Ideal if you don’t want to contact the Incident Management Centre.
Upon raising the alarm to your speed dial contact, the device will automatically send the MySOS’s exact location, as shown on a map, to that number. Provided they have an internet-enabled phone, they can view the location instantly; if not, a link to a secure URL will be sent via text message which can be viewed on any internet enabled computer. This function is ideal if the MySOS’s user is unable to speak for any reason.
Should you choose to, you can set the MySOS device to automatically record your position at set intervals, ranging from every 15 minutes to every 2 hours. You can also manually record your position at anytime by the simple press of a button on the device. The recorded positions can be viewed on a map at our secure online Customer Service Centre.
You can leave a voice message with extra details such as, who you are meeting and how long you will expect to be. This voice memo will be available to our controllers should you activate the alarm and can provide vital additional information.
